Gwen was conceived in an apocalyptic world while her parents and older sister were being held captive in the human city of Salvation. Her mother, Lisbeth, was spurred on for their escape, knowing she was going to have another child.
After a harrowing escape, Gwen was born in her father, Knight's, old farmhouse in Texas, and everyone began their new life in the apocalyptic world. In the new timeline, Gwen was conceived a second time using a potion the witches made for Lisbeth so her children would be brought back to her. The potion had unintended side effects when used on a vampire, making Lisbeth become pregnant with her first three children all at once. Lisbeth used the potion again to have her fourth child, Gwen. Because of the potion, all of Lisbeth's children have magically altered DNA now, making them age rapidly, and giving them magical abilities. At five years old, the triplets were fully grown, meaning the same would happen to Gwen. |
