At only a few months old, Zelda and her parents were on the run from supernatural Hunters, when a Hunter raid ended with the death of her parents. Zelda was spared, but when the Hunters decided to destroy her too, a Hunter named Meredith stepped in, slaughtering all the Hunters to protect Zelda.
Zelda quickly became attached to Meredith, sensing that she had a pure heart, even if she was a supernatural Hunter. Meredith took her to a Lycan pack and tried to hand her over, but Zelda resisted, having chosen her new pack on her own. After becoming the pack Alpha’s mate, Meredith took Zelda back, and left the Hunters behind to take care of her new family. Appears inThe Hunter's Mate
