Full Name Olivier
Birth year 1672 Species Vampire Sexual orientation Bisexual Nationality African Hair Color Black Eye Color Brown Spouse Renard Olivier was born the illegitimate daughter of a princess in Morocco. She was never accepted by her family, but she chose to live in the palace instead of with other vampires. Her mother died when she was still a teenager, and her grandfather turned her out of the palace. Using her skills and intelligence, she eventually bought a ship and became a vampire pirate.
A vampirate, if you will. (I'll see myself out.) Olivier met another vampire named Lisbeth, and she instantly thought Lisbeth was stuffy and a priss, but she liked her and invited the rich girl on board her pirate ship. Olivier quickly realized Lisbeth might have been naïve and sheltered, but she was adaptable, intelligent, and stronger than Olivier. The two of them built a small coven, sometimes on land, sometimes on sea, and although Olivier was the leader, it was clear Lisbeth could've been if she chose to. Olivier grew to love Lisbeth, respecting her almost enough to have romantic feelings, but neither ever got to that point. After their coven turned on them, Lisbeth went to America, leaving Olivier behind. Olivier joined the vampire Hunters, becoming the second in command to the vampire, Arthur. She was never afraid of him, and always questioned his choices, making her the perfect choice for his right hand. Arthur took a mate, Adriann, and she attacked humans when she didn't drink enough blood for her pregnancy. Olivier gave Arthur the option to break the law and spare her, but he chose to uphold the law and executed his mate. Olivier knew something had broken inside him after that, but didn’t truly realize until she was assigned to work with Arthur during World War II. The two became lovers, a strictly physical arrangement. Olivier began to realize that being this close to Arthur was causing her to lose her empathy. She finally understood that he had no humanity left, and that wasn’t some she wanted for herself. She left the Hunters for good, and came to Lisbeth’s Order, hoping to regain her humanity. Lisbeth welcomed her friend back with open arms, and the two women were inseparable. In 1987, Lisbeth and Olivier got new human companions, two men who were also friends. Renard, a young Frenchman, was instantly smitten with Olivier, and she fell in love with him as well. A romantic relationship wasn't allowed, not even a kiss, so they skirted each other for the next two decades as Renard battled the desire to stay with her, but remain human at the same time. |
