Wolfgang is the second son in one of the most powerful witch families. His older brother, Cyrus, became the Chancellor of the witch High Council, and chastised Wolfgang for not having any ambition. The two brothers befriended a fairy named Sebastian, who taught them to be wary of the Fae.
After Diego Neck was murdered, Wolfgang found his young daughter, Jaz, trying to resurrect him. He knew she would be in danger, being the first necromancer in 400 years. When Jaz lost her magic, Wolfgang manipulated his way into the position of Headmaster at Highborn Academy to make sure Jaz would be safe whenever she eventually came back to school. As a divination witch, he has visions, and is very powerful, almost more than Alec, who is the strongest natural non-necromancer witch. Wolfgang’s specialty focus is on memories. Wolfgang's powers, intellect, and sorrow over losing his friend, Diego, turned him into a controlled alcoholic. |
