Bane grew up the Alpha of his pack, with his little brother, Ben, as his second in command. They met a Lycan named Xadrian in their early twenties and both developed feelings for him. Ben and Bane decided to share him, and they all moved in together. They sometimes took a fourth lover, but it was always temporary, and the three men truly wanted to find a permanent fourth member of their relationship.

They started working at a sex club as bartenders, and happened one night to meet a woman named Dolores. Bane instantly knew she was his fated mate, and as such, would be the one to be shared amongst the three men.
