In the early 1800's, Aaron lived with a group of young and inexperienced vampires. They heard about a new vampire coven run by a vampire named Olivier, and jumped at the opportunity to have adventures with older vampires. Aaron met the much older Lisbeth on Olivier's pirate ship, and instantly became infatuated with her, instigating a relationship without giving Lisbeth the chance to develop feelings for him.

Unaware that Lisbeth didn't truly love him, he was convinced this was a romance that would last forever, fueled by his narcissism and infatuation. Whenever Lisbeth began to stray from his grasp, he flew into insane rages until she returned.

One night at a masquerade ball, he witnessed Lisbeth talking to another man, and was struck with a jealous rage. After forcing her from the party, he forced Lisbeth to participate in a midnight hunt, to punish her for making him jealous. When she resisted, he held her down and made her watch the other vampires kill a human child. Lisbeth left him that night and never returned.

Over the next two centuries, Aaron's insanity convinced him that Lisbeth would want him back if he tried hard enough. He hatches a plan to kidnap her and reunite with his long lost love, still oblivious to her true feelings. (He's an idiot.)
